Would it be best to use the Apple power adapter connected to one of the ports and a dock without power delivery connected to the other port? If so, could you recommend a dock that would work with the adapters listed above or has the same audio and video capabilities built-in? (I assume the 2.5GB Ethernet is not a common feature on current docks.) I do not want to have that problem, and I am thinking that a dock without power delivery is a better solution. I would like to also use the MacBook as a desktop, but I need some type of dock to add more ports so I can use the following devices (which I already own):Īfter reading reviews and posts on multiple websites, it seems that many MacBook M1 owners have had their laptops bricked by using docks that provide power delivery. I recently purchased a MacBook Air M1 and have been using it away from a desk. ![]()
